What moves your average most
Helps decide which exam is worth retaking, or which module you’d drop if your regulations allow it (weight 0 = doesn’t count).
What do I still need?
How it’s calculated
Each grade counts as much as the module has ECTS (times the weight, if set). Most German examination regulations keep only the first decimal of the result and drop the rest without rounding: 1.86 becomes 1.8. That’s how the calculator shows it.
Overall grades: up to 1.5 very good, up to 2.5 good, up to 3.5 satisfactory, up to 4.0 sufficient. Exactly what goes into your average is set by your examination regulations; sometimes the first semesters don’t count, for example.
